JOB SUMMARY

 

As the Financial Reporting Systems Manager at INSIGHT2PROFIT, you will support the finance function and Office of the CFO by developing and maintaining reporting infrastructure, delivering data-driven insights, and improving the efficiency of financial and operational processes. This role combines hands-on analytics, technical execution, and cross-functional collaboration to build scalable, repeatable, and highly automated solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support reporting needs, enhance data quality and accessibility, and help drive informed decision-making. In addition, you will contribute to continuous process improvement and collaboration across teams at INSIGHT.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Insight’s financial reporting infrastructure, with a focus on accurate, always-on reporting that helps drive business decisions.
  • Build and optimize recurring financial and operational reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI and Power Query.
  • Leverage automation and integration tools, such as Azure Data Factory, to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.
  • Analyze large and complex financial and operational datasets to deliver actionable insights that support forecasting, performance monitoring, and executive decision-making.
  • Monitor data quality, validate reporting accuracy, and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistency and integrity across financial reports and dashboards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve process efficiency, and increase standardization across finance reporting activities.
  • Document reporting logic, data flows, and technical processes to support governance, continuity, and ongoing enhancement of reporting capabilities.
  • All team members are expected to support the organization’s commitment to information security, confidentiality, and system reliability. This includes following established policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive and client information, reporting potential security concerns, and supporting incident response or business continuity efforts as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business priorities.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Minimum

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, economics, statistics, actuarial science, data analytics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science or a related field.

 

Preferred

Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree.

 

Work Experience

Minimum

Five (5) years of experience in financial analytics or data-focused roles, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining reporting infrastructure, including advanced use of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

 

 

 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Experience with visual analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Power Query, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.

 

COMPENSATION

 

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000, commensurate with skills and relevant experience. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the annual discretionary bonus program.
